CIRQUE D’OR COMES TO THE STAGE FOR TWO PERFORMANCES AT MEADOW BROOK MUSIC FESTIVAL JULY 15

Cirque D’Or, performed by the Golden Dragon Acrobats, will make two performances at Meadow Brook Music Festival on Thursday, July 15. Show times are 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets at $20 reserved pavilion and $15 general admission pavilion are on sale now at Palacenet.com, The Palace Box Office and all Ticketmaster locations. Special Superfan seating is also available. Seats for children aged 12 and under are half-off with the exception of general admission tickets.

Cirque D’Or presents a show of award-winning acrobatics, traditional dance, spectacular costumes, ancient and contemporary music and theatrical techniques of breathtaking skill and spellbinding beauty full of fun and excitement for the entire family. Drawing on skills dating to ancient times which have been modernized, the show’s performers bend, spin umbrellas with their feet, scale poles, lean at 45-degree angles and build human pyramids on moving bicycles and much more.
The internationally acclaimed Golden Dragon Acrobats represent the best of a time-honored tradition dating back more than 25 centuries. The Golden Dragons are recognized throughout the United States and abroad as the premiere Chinese acrobatic company touring today.
Now in their 32nd year of continuous touring, The Golden Dragon Acrobats have performed all over the United States and to more than 65 countries on five continents. In 2005, the Golden Dragon Acrobats made their Broadway Debut to a sold out audience at the New Victory Theater, New York’s ultimate theater for kids and families. Their run on Broadway over the next six weeks led to adoration and standing ovations from audiences of all ages and universal critical acclaim from the New York press.
